Winter at Ffald-y-Brenin

‘In the bleak midwinter’ might be exchanged for ‘In the damp – and - warmest-December-for-100-years’, marking an exceptionally mild Winter so far. Doesn’t sound quite so romantic though. Yet – daffodils have appeared and are in full bloom in some parts of our valley, and crocuses are showing already.

Quite strange but right too – reflecting our God who continues to meet with people, healing hearts and minds, because it is never winter with him.

We continue to gasp with wonder at the testimonies as our gracious Lord pours out his love upon us and are lost in awe and thanksgiving.

Both our residents and day visitors are welcome to spend time with God either wandering the grounds, making use of our day facilities and in prayer either in the Chapel or our prayer room.  Our Daily Rhythm of Prayer takes place in the Chapel at 9.30 am, 12.45 am, 5.30 pm and 9.45 pm.  All are free to join in.   Please check weekend times which vary slightly.

December 2015

We wish you a Happy Christmas and a peaceful New Year. How can we possibly be at years end? Last Christmas seems so recent. And then we look at the wonderful things that the Lord has done since then and marvel.

It is just over a year since we visited Uganda and had quite a God-appointment there. Since then we have been training and releasing national leaders to release Local House of Prayer movements for various African nations. Anne DeLeyser has been tireless as she has arranged for the dubbing of videos and translation of interactive training notes into various appropriate languages....
